Belated Thanksgiving News

We have had an exceptional Thanksgiving holiday at Devlins South this year. Keith's parents, brother, and nephews drove in last Monday. Add in my family and a friend, and we had thirteen people here for lunch Thursday. Keith commented that this was the best Thanksgiving he can remember. For that I am thankful.

I am also very thankful for all the help I had in the kitchen preparing for Thursday's festivities. Ben, Natalie, and Mama helped with the turkey. Joe and Natalie helped with the mashed potatoes. Mama brought the dressing. Nat brought the green bean casserole. Vicki took care of the pies and gravy and a whole lot of other stuff. We had more than enough food and have been working on one of my favorite parts--leftovers.

It was a wonderful holiday. I hope yours was equally blessed.
