Another One
Can you tell that I've been looking through some old photos this week? The reason will become obvious next week. Until then, another nostalgic moment. And there may be more as I uncover some of these favorite pictures of mine in hidden folders on my computer.
These pictures were taken at our Rehearsal Dinner, the evening before our wedding, June 17, 1994. Keith's folks held the dinner at his dad's favorite restaurant, Resto Nax, a locally owned place in Norcross with good crab cakes--Keith's dad is a sucker for a good crab cake. (Incidentally, Resto Nax is now something else.)
That afternoon, we had the rehearsal at the Houston Mill House, where we would be married the next day. At the rehearsal, I was a bit peevish, because all the guys were rendezvousing at the tuxedo shop and missed more than half the actual rehearsal.
I soon got over my peevishness. We were surrounded by all our closest friends and family, all gathered together to celebrate our new life together. We gave gifts; we received gifts; and we had a chance to show off our new apartment to some of our guests. I think you can tell from the look on my face just how much I was enjoying the day and looking forward to the next one.
